Audio professionals looking for a quality, easy-to-use line-array subwoofer should check out the black QSC KLA181 Subwoofer, a powered 18" subwoofer that's designed to be used in the KLA series system. The 1000W amplifier powers the 18" woofer, which reproduces frequencies down to 33 Hz with a maximum SPL of 135 dB. The KLA181 has an integrated threaded pole-cup receptacle that allows you to pole-mount up to two KLA12 speakers on top of it for array setup. Its M10 fittings allow it to alternatively be suspension mounted.
Additional features include a "DEEP" DSP algorithm for power bass, Guardrail protection to prevent clipping, a balanced XLR line input, an XLR thru, a polarity switch, an attenuation control, and LED indicators. The KLA181 includes a 3.6' and 12' powerCON power cords as well as an 3' XLR audio loop-thru cable, a 3' powerCON loop-thru cable, a Hex key, and a 3-pin Euroblock connector.
