The Triad PL Mount Converter Kit for Canon C100/300/500 includes all of the components needed to convert an EF mount C100, C300 or C500 camcorder to PL mount. The conversion entails a semi-permanent installation, as the process requires users to disassemble the camera's native EF mount. This is not a procedure that is intended to be undertaken in the field.
The kit also includes two 15mm lightweight support rods (5.9") and a rod clamp with a cold shoe. The rod clamp bracket mounts onto the camera's native accessory shoe and the supplied PL mount, for a securely integrated configuration. Four shims, in sizes of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5mm aid in precision lens collimation.
Note:
The maximum compatible lens mount length is 1" (2.54 cm).
