Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well Used the product from a 5d mk2 out to a sony 5 inch monitor and a directors monitor. Works well, did the job well. Signal was clean, with the occasional break up. Was a bit finicky sometimes while connecting, but that is just the nature of hdmi. One gripe is that if a cable is connected to the splitter and nothing to the other end nothing else will get signal. Not a big deal, but was just confusing till i found that out. Overall, no major problems, does the job and that's about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cheap solution I don't like using HDMI in the field but sometimes have to. The connections are always..sensitive. I am surprised that this product even works for the price, but it does. It sometimes needs a little jingle to get a clear image but that could be the cables more than the splitter. Its always hard to say for sure what the problem with these things are. If you can mount it horizontally, with the inputs facing up you'll have the best results, and keep weight from the cables working with you. leave a little slack but not too much so it pulls. Its never not worked is the point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst piece of gear ever! Simply put, this does not work. Not that mine was broken, but it fails to doing a proper handshake between the devices. Plus one monitor signal goes through, great plug a second and the image is gone. Tested with many different setups, failed systematically. Do not buy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work This splitter will not work correctly. The unit makes one screen really choppy and fuzzy. I switched HDMI cables and it does the same thing. My two tv's look great without this splitter, but once you hook it up one tv does not display right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay for powered signals I bought this splitter to use for a number of applications. 1. Cable Box 2. iPad 3. Blu Ray Player I have it hooked up to two 60 TVs. It works fantastically with the cable box, it works on both screens for about 15 seconds with the iPad then it drops to just working on one screen and the blu ray player doesn't show up on either screen. So all in the all don't let the price hook you too soon and don't be surprised when it only works on some things.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Fault As Stated this is a Passive Splitter, so there is no amplification of signal that is being split. i believe that if you want this to work you'll have to use very short HDMI cables or something that will amplify the signal after the outputs... It would not work for my application but might work for other applications. only looses a star due to the thin mounting tabs. this would work best if the ports face upward so that the HDMI cables stay seated and put less stress on the mounting tabs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me. It didn't work for my application. I tried with long and short cables neither worked.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tricky but worked So if both monitors are at the same resolution it works perfect, If one monitors highest resolution is lower then the second monitor its better to run both of the screens at the resolution of the lower monitor. In my case I had one screen vertical and the other horizontal and that did not work with this device because both screens needed to be the same orientation
