Turbosound TCX-12 Overview

The black TCX-12 12" 2-Way Passive Wide Dispersion Speaker from Turbosound consists of a 12" low-frequency driver and a 1" high-frequency compression driver in a trapezoidal enclosure. It is designed for sound reproduction when installed in sound systems used anywhere from houses of worship to live music venues, in mobile DJ setups, and more.

This passive speaker offers power handling of 300W continuous and 600W program. The TCX-12 is constructed from 5/8" birch plywood finished in white semi-matt textured paint. When permanently installed this cabinet has a discrete appearance with no visible side handles. For portable applications the pole mount blanking plug can be removed so you can place the speaker on stands and poles. A single carrying handle is built-in for transportation. The cabinet is built with internal threaded rigging points for use with Eyebolts as well as wall and ceiling brackets. There are 9 M10 Eyebolts, 4 M8 and 4 M6 internal rigging points for OmniMount and Turbosound brackets.

Internal Threaded Rigging Points
The cabinet is finished in white textured paint, and includes internal threaded rigging points that allow it to be suspended in permanent installations using M10 eyebolts.
Control and Monitor Over a BVNet Network
When used with optional Turbosound Loudspeaker Management Systems, TCX loudspeakers can be controlled and monitored over a BVNet network using TurboDrive control software.
Pole Mount Socket
For portable use the pole mount socket allows TCX series two-way loudspeakers to be mounted on a straight speaker pole above the subwoofer.
Speakon Connecters
The rear connector panel provides two Speakon NL4 connectors for input and loop-out functions, wired in parallel with a 4-way barrier strip connector.
Converging Elliptical Waveguide
The TCX-12 features a wide dispersion Converging Elliptical Waveguide which generates a smooth wavefront while giving sufficient pattern control. The waveguide can be rotated through 90° in order to swap the horizontal and vertical dispersion patterns.
