The medium Heavy-Duty Universal Wheeley Bar from JMI Telescopes enables astronomers and stargazers to easily relocate their telescope without having to break down the tripod, mount, or optical tube. Simply insert the feet of any tripod into the 2.75" tip receptacles and you've got a telescope on wheels. This medium size wheeley bar is durably constructed and designed to handle tripods with tip-to-tip distances from 33 to 43" (83.8-109.2cm) and can carry up to 300 pounds of gear. This model comes with standard 2.4" wheels that raise most tripods 3.5" off the ground, or 5" for Astro-Physics pier mounts.
Note:
Because of the increased weight with the narrow width, there will be a greater risk due to the high center of gravity. The equipment will need to be strapped down to the Wheeley Bar and, as with all Wheeley Bars, JMI will not be responsible for equipment tipping over.
