Blackhole from Eventide is a native based reverb plug-in using a classic algorithm, previously only available in Eventide rack processors. A wide range of adjustable parameters let you create unearthly spatial effects.
Blackhole's intuitive user interface is easy to manage and control. Three special switches are designed for real-time control to morph or enhance the effect.
Note:
Requires iLok 2 if one is not already present on the system.
Main Features
Customizable control with Ribbon & HotSwitch
Mono, Mono-to-Stereo, and Stereo operation
Controls
In: input level, -60 dBfs to +12 dBfs
Out: output level, -60 dBfs to +12 dBfs
Meters: audio level before/after reverb, post In & Out faders
Overload: indicates overload in the reverb's signal chain
Mix: wet/dry balance
Gravity: decay time
Size: size of the reverberation space
Predelay: amount of delay before reverb begins, 0 to 2,000 mS
Low: amount of signal below 350 Hz in the reverb tail
High: amount of signal above 2 kHz in the reverb tail
Tempo: 3 modes for tempo-relative performance
Mod Depth: sets the modulation depth in the reverb tail
Mod Rate: relative speed of the modulation in the reverb tail
Resonance: controls resonance of Low and High filters
Kill: mutes the dry signal to expose reverb tail
Freeze: sets reverb time to infinite and mutes the dry signal
Ribbon: dynamic modification of several controls at once
HotSwitch: instantly toggle between 2 programmed settings
Out: output level, -60 dBfs to +12 dBfs
