I purchased this case because it was the right size for my cable tester. I didn't want it unprotected in my equipment bag. It is very durable and a perfect fit.

In case you were wondering how big/small this thing is, its exactly the width and height of a TV-Logic 5.6 monitor. The depth is exactly the monitor plus a LP-E6 backplate OR a Teradek Bolt RX backplate. It doesn't lend it much impact protection on it's own but it's the perfect case to keep your monitor in when you throw it in your bag with everything else.

Is this likely to fit a Sony UWP-D wireless mic kit? (Transmitter, receiver with hot shoe mount, lapel mic, and XLR to 3.5mm cable?

Without being able to physically place the gear in a particular container, saying yes or no as to its efficacy is limited to an opinion. Generally, our advice is to gather all gear going into a container on a table and measuring possible arrangements while allowing for padding. This gives you a very good idea of the size needed. As to the Porta Brace GPC-7X5 General Purpose Case (Black) B&H # POGPC7X5, its interior is 7.0 x 5.0 x 2.0. Comparing this to a known recommend hard case for this gear the SKB iSeries Waterproof Sennheiser EW & Sony UWP Wireless Mic System Case B&H # SK3I0907BH1 with interior dimensions of 9.50 x 7.00 x 4.13 , which includes padding, we say that probably the Porta Brace bag will do the job.
