The MXHD88A Professional HDMI Matrix Switcher from KanexPro is a full Cross Point Switcher for HDMI signals. It is capable of switching both DVI signals - with optional adapter - and HDMI signals from any one of its 8 inputs to any one or more of its 8 outputs, with all ports active at all times. This switcher is well suited for applications where reliable distribution of DVI/HDMI signals is required. The MXHD88A supports data rates up to 10.2 Gbps and is capable of switching video signals up to WUXGA (1920 x 1200@60 Hz) or 1080P@60 Hz. Gain compensation and equalization over a distance of 100 ft (30 m) is automatically handled.
The MXHD88A is completely controllable via built-in RS-232 control, physical buttons on the front panel, and accepts IR commands. It also comes with 9 programmable global presets. The LED indicators for each input and output indicate when there is a signal present.
The MXHD88A is HDCP 1.3 compliant, and supports EDID, DDC, and HDCP management internally for seamless communication between source and display. The switcher also supports Consumer Electronics Control protocols which are passed through allowing for control of CEC enabled displays.
