The HDCC-708MULTI 1RU Card from Wohler features a dual channel encoder, bridge, transcoder, decoder, and monitor; as well as dual channel GPI cues encoder and decoder, all in a single card.
The HDCC-708MULTI is a full-featured dual channel solution that supports both CEA-608 and CEA-708 closed captioning formats on a single card with functionality for challenging captioning applications. This encoder can fit in to Evertz, IRT, Codan, openGear, or Wohler frames when used with a compatible adapter (sold separately).
Supports SD and HD in one card; compliant with all broadcast SD/HD video standards; supports synchronous GPI broadcast.
Bridges and transcodes SD VBI CEA-608-encoded captions to/from HD VANC CEA-708 ones.
Live captioning Serial/Ethernet input supporting grandalliance, SMPTE333 AND CDP protocols. Synchronous Serial/Ethernet output of raw caption data.
