The Countryman H6 Omnnidirectional Headset Microphone has three sensitivity options. The W5 band is for general speaking, the W6 band is for loud speaking and vocals, and the W7 band is for powerful vocals, such as opera.

Countryman designates the sensitivities of the mics in 2 ways, a letter/number combination, and associated band color. They are as follows, W5 = no colored band is for general speaking. W6 = blue band is for very loud speaking, or vocal performance, and W7 = purple band with headroom for the most powerful vocal performance.
