Big Jambox from Jawbone is a Bluetooth wireless speaker that's nearly double the size of the original Jambox. It produces a huge sound, thanks to a stereo pair of acoustic drivers and dual passive bass radiators. But despite its increased size, Big Jambox weighs in at only 2.7 lbs (1.2 kg) and is highly portable. It's equipped with Jawbone's LiveAudio technology, which features enhanced acoustic and spatial detail, and gives you the experience of 3D audio.
You can control your music from the unit's top panel, thanks to onboard controls such as Volume Up/Down, Previous/Next, and Play/Pause. Big Jambox works with any Bluetooth-equipped phone, tablet, or mobile device, and has a range of at least 33 feet (10.1m).
In addition to its stellar music-reproduction capabilities, Big Jambox functions as a Web-based speakerphone, allowing you to greatly enhance the audio you hear during phone calls and video chats that use Skype, GoogleTalk, or FaceTime. In addition, the unit can be updated and customized over the web, using its built-in MyTalk support and Jawbone's MyTalk website.
Big Jambox is powered by an internal, rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which gives you up to 15 hours of operation between charges.
