The BigEye S Series Wide-Angle Lens from Fantasea Line is the BigEye Lens G Series with the addition of the EyeDaptor S Series-G Series, an adapter that enables the lens to be used on the Canon S90, S95, S100 and S110 housings (WP-DC35, WP-DC38, WP-DC43 and WP-DC47, respectively). Constructed of optical glass, hard coated plastic and anodized aluminum, this patented wide-angle lens fits over the housing port and can be installed and removed during the course of the dive.
The lens has a depth rating of 200' (60 m). Perfect for shooting a variety of subjects, including seascapes, divers, ship wrecks and schools of fish, this lens allows you to get nice and close to your subject while still getting a wide angle of coverage. By minimizing the distance and water between you and your subject, you reduce distortion and get images that are clearer and more accurate.
The lens features 105% magnification and an angle of coverage of 80°. The BigEye enables installing color correction filters inside the lens, thereby producing vivid and colorful images or videos. Color correction filters help replace some of the tones that are lost underwater, due to the blue filtering effect of the ocean. The lens features a dedicated slot that allows for easy installation of the following color correction insert discs (not included): The #5305 RedEye Insert included with the RedEye Filter S Series, and the #5307 PinkEye Insert included with the PinkEye Filter S Series.
The EyeDaptor S Series-G Series enables you to mount not only the BigEye Lens G Series, but also the optional SharpEye Lens M67 (EyeDaptor G Series-F67 adapter required), which is a macro lens, and the RedEye and PinkEye inserts discussed above, onto the compatible housings.
Included with the BigEye Wide-Angle Lens is a neoprene lens cover and a secure line that attaches to your BigEye, EyeDaptor or color correction filter, as well as to the housing, to prevent the loss of these items during your dive.
