Yes, the SquareTrade Extended Coverage Protection Plan can be transferred to the new owner, free of charge, if you choose to sell the covered item. You would just call SquareTrade and verify the information on the order. Transferring the plan can also be done online on your SquareTrade account.

With this warranty, are the repairs done by manufacturer-approved authorized service providers?
Yes the repairs would be done with manufacturer-approved authorized service providers. Also, you can take it to a local repair shop to have it serviced as well, all you have to do is contact Allstate prior to taking it to the shop, ensure that they will cover the repair, then send them the invoice for the service and they will reimburse you for the cost. But again, be sure to contact Allstate before taking it to a local repair shop.

You would not be able to transfer the plan to a new device, but you can always cancel the plan and SquaeTrade would pro rate it and refund you the difference.
