Confusion reigns supreme

I bought the Allstate drop in spills policy along with my new Nikon P11100 print with the P 1100. as you're probably aware there's been a lot of problems with the camera freezing when in the middle of a active shooting session. unfortunately this really came to a head over a year after the camera was purchased rather so warranty was not in effect with Nikon. Since it's since it wasn't covered with Nikon I contacted Allstate and was thunderstruck to hear from them that what I should do is be to submit a claim to under the Nikon warranty. This led to a lot of back and forth and I finally had to call a customer service representative- actually finding a human being was difficult. Following that after a prolonged discussion probably 20 to 30 minutes it was finally determined that the camera was actually covered by Allstate since it was probably an electrical issue. After all that I finally sent the camera in and am awaiting a resolution of this problem, Anyway I thought I'd like to express to you my dissatisfaction with the Allstate insurance product that you feature prominently on your website. I'd like to hear remarks regarding this.

Would this cover these scenarios? A) I’m hiking and the Camera is dropped down some rocks and is destroyed but is recovered B) falls into a pool or lake while talking pictures around it and has water damage. Thanks for your help
Asked by: Kenneth
Yes, both scenarios listed above would be covered. As long as you physically retrieve the camera to return the camera for inspection/repair, the SquareTrade 3-Year Drops & Spills Warranty would cover both the impact damage and the water damage listed above.
