I choose the extra coverage for my product ( used 500 f4 Nikon) , hope don’t need to use it but it’s there just in case . And also a affordable price doesn’t bother me to added.

While I just bought Allstate coverage for my new camera, I can say that I had very good experience with a ~$200 repair claim on a previous camera. In particular, Allstate allowed me to send my camera to the original manufacture's repair service, not a less desirable third party without specific experience in my expensive and delicate piece of equipment.
