    Sonos CONNECT reviews

Connect (Formerly the ZonePlayer 90) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great wireless music system I love Sonos for its convenience and sound. I already have a several speakers and there is no easier to fill the house with music from the Internet (Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc.). I also love the controls via an app on my phone. I decided to get the Connect in order to use my new wireless living room speakers. I quickly found out that the speakers have a latency and therefore I cannot integrate them with the rest of my Sonos system. Not sure if the same situation would have been created if I had hooked up the Connect to a traditional amp and speakers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great way to link outdoor speaker/receiver to Sonos speakers The connect works extremely well and very easy to setup. I was able to connect my Sonos indoor speakers with my outdoor speakers via a Yamaha receiver. Because you have a volume control on the sonos app and on the receiver, they will both battle one another. To remedy this, just setup your Sonos Connect Line Out via the app to fixed volume which will always output at 100%. then use the receiver volume to control. The only reason for rating this 4 stars rather than 5 is....like most people complain about....the price. B&H price was the same or cheapest out of anyone. But, this is definitely an overpriced piece of equipment, but it is solid and it works flawlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again and again Since long time ago, I was looking for a very good and not expensive solution for listening to streaming and the music stored in my computer (in SSD drives). I'm a HiFi enthusiastic and I love to hear my music with the best fidelity that my pockets can afford, so I have invested in very good traditional HiFi systems and components (Such as Arcam, Cambridge Audio, NAD, Acoustic Energy, Marantz, Audioquest, ProJect Debut III, etc.). As an example, let's say my budget can afford a Volvo or Lexus, but not a Ferrari or Rolls Royce. Having said that, my technical problem was solved when I discovered Sooloos from Meridian (the British high audio and video quality systems vendor), but the new problem was the cost. Before falling into a depression, I discovered SONOS and my ears were happy again and my bank account didn't suffer. SONOS sounds incredibly clear, it's very easy to set up and it matches very good with any traditional HiFi audio system, so you can combine the best of both worlds: hi-tech upgrade and the best quality analogue audio. The only problem with my SONOS is: It is very addictive...... I found SONOS at B&H which is my favorite store in NYC and I try to visit it every time I go to the Big Apple. The guys have an unbeatable and warm service. Sincerely and best wishes, Alfredo Novoa Santiago CHILE South America

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job It works well, and is easy to set up. Choice of connections is good. Multi-voltage. It's a little overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sonos Connect Works exactly as it should. I use a Sonos Bridge as my network gateway to Sonos Connect and Play:5 players, with music stored on my NAS. It's so nice to be able to control the selection and playing of all my music via the Sonos application running on an iPad. Even my wife, who is definitely technically challenged agrees. The Sonos system is SUPERB.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sonos - The ONLY Music Streaming Service to Consider The Sonos Connect is simple and flawless. It allows me to stream music through my surround sound system in my media room that is completely in sync with all the other Sonos speakers in my home. Most notably, not only can I enjoy music from such streaming services as Pandora and Spotify, but I am able to access my entire iTunes Music Library. Thus, any of the thousands and thousands of songs are immediately accessible at the click of the Sonos apps on my iMac, iPad, MacBook Air or Galaxy S7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, clean look, clear audio. For it's fundamental task this player does it well. It was easy to set up. It looks great in my entertainment center and has a small footprint. I have this connected via the digital coax out to my surround sound receiver and the audio quality is very clean. No distortion, no noise, just a clean audio signal. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to connect Sonos to their existing system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great product for those that like listening to music. Hook up to my AV receiver was painless. The selection of available radio stations is fantastic. For a long time I wasn't able to access one particular foreign radio station from the Internet due to licensing issues and now with SONOS Connect and Tune-In radio feature I can hear this station as often as I want. I plan on buying other SONOS players for the rooms.
