The PIXMA MG3220 Wireless Color All-in-One Color Inkjet Photo Printer prints up to 9.2 ipm in black and 5 ipm in color. The printer uses Canon's FINE ink technology and a 4800 x 1200 dpi (color) to provide photo-quality printing right from your own computer. Borderless photos can be printed in standard photo sizes from 4 x 6" to 8.5 x 11". Additionally, the printer can output legal-sized documents. The included WebPrint EX provides an easy way to print what you want from the web without wasting paper. Use the utility to collect sections from web pages and rearrange them before printing to maximize page use. Thanks to the printer's 2-cartridge ink system (1 black & 1 color), replacing the ink is easy. The printer also includes automatic duplex printing, allowing you to print on both sides of the page effortlessly to cut your paper consumption by up to 50%.
In addition to a standard USB connection, the MG3220 includes a built-in Wi-Fi receiver. Easily share the printer with other computers on your home network and place the printer in a more central location. In addition to wireless printing, the MG3220 features wireless scanning, allowing you to scan to other devices on your network. Additionally, Network Scan provides the option of sending scans directly to a network folder.
Canon's new My Image Garden software helps organize your photos and guides you through the process of creating photo projects. Also included is Canon's new Facebook app - "Print Your Days" - which provides an easy platform for printing photos from a Facebook album and creating & printing a Facebook photo collage.
The built-in letter-size flatbed scanner lets you scan both documents and photos. The MG3220 features auto mode which detects whether you are scanning a photo or a document and adjusts the settings accordingly. Need to touch-up a photo after its scanned? Use the included Auto Photo Fix II to make your images look their best. Additionally, the software provides filter effects such as fisheye, miniature, and toy camera to add creativity to your photos. The software also lets you extract a single frame from an HD movie clip and print it as an image.
