- Based on XX Series Connectors
Designed by Neutrik for lighting applications, the NA3F5M is an adapter bridging the gap between 3-pole XLR connections and the 5-pole DMX standard. It does this by sporting a female 3-pole connection at one end and a 5-pole XLR male termination at the other. With a construction based on the XX series of Neutrik connectors, this adapter features a diecast shell for durability. It provides a useful solution in interconnection problems between older terminations and the DMX standard.

Can this be used with a dynamic mic?
Although designed for DMX, if you do happen to use with a mic, and utilize it on an XLR5 connector traditionally wired for 2channel or stereo operation, it will tie the mic to the “left” or “channel 1” pins (pins 1,2,3 correlate on each connector)
