The SPNDNT Dante Network Processor from Lectrosonics is a DSP mixer and processor for Dante networked ASPEN equipment. It features 32 digital inputs and outputs via its dual gigabit Ethernet ports. It provides automatic mixing, gain control, and delay to time align audio from different sources.
The unit can both generate clock signal and serve as a clock master, or function as a slave to the clock in another Dante unit. The SPNDNT is network plug and play and will automatically recognize other units on the network once connected. It can be connected to a secondary network for redundancy, providing a failsafe if the primary network fails.
Plug-and-Play Networking for Media Professionals
With Dante's Zero configuration protocol, you won't need a networking specialist to enter numerical IP or MAC addresses, or set up DNS or DHCP servers. Dante makes networking a true plug-and-play process with automatic device discovery and system configuration. And with Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS), your Mac or Windows computer looks and acts like any other Dante-enabled device.
