The T8642 PoE+ over Coax Device Unit from Axis Communications is a single-channel solution that allows legacy coax cabling to be used when converting an analog system to IP. This device unit receives power via coax and delivers PoE+ to a network device. A base unit (available separately) receives PoE and transmits it via coax.
This device delivers a transmission distance up to 1600'. Thanks to plug-and-play installation, operation is kept simple. LED indicators give confirmation of network and power status.
