The MH-C490F Stealth Two-Hour Compact 4-Bank 9V NiMH Battery Charger from Powerex is a small (2.5 x 3" / 6.4 x 7.6 cm) charger for 1-4 7.2V, 8.4V or 9.6V NiMH rechargeable batteries. It has a Delta-V based microprocessor, which charges batteries to their full potential. The microprocessor automatically switches from rapid charge to trickle charge after the batteries are fully charged to ensure that they maintain their total capacity. Additionally, FLEX pulse charging conditions and enhances battery performance during charging.

Does it include any batteries ?
This Charger Kit does not come with batteries they are sold separately. A nice option you could go with is the Watson 9V Rechargeable NiMH Battery. Very reasonably priced, and good quality. Website link to the battery: http://bhpho.to/1DSC7fV

Can batteries be safely left in this charger for about 4 days between uses?
I understand this to be a smart charger which monitors voltage as it charges until full charge is reached then pretty much shuts down charging and turns the charge LED green, keeping the battery at full charge. I leave batteries in for a week at a time and sometimes longer with no noticeable degradation in function.
