Amazing modifier!!!!

Mola makes beautifully built equipment. The soft silver lining and built-in diffusion combine to remove center harshness, create pleasing catchlights and wrap light around your subject unlike any other reflector. Its light characteristic is almost exactly like a Fresnel lens due to the stair stepped construction of the reflector. This is a solid piece of equipment with an included mounting bracket- buyers should be aware that it takes up space in your studio.  I own and use a Broncolor Para 133- that said, the Mola Sollo Silver is just as versatile if you employ the grids and diffusion socks to further tailor your light to your needs. Nothing gives you that old Hollywood look quite like this reflector. The light is hard/soft with distinct crisp shadows and the skin has a lovely specularity. With a Siros L 800 mounted it is quite heavy (app. 22 lbs.) and should be used with a 20 lbs. sandbag placed on the leg of a sturdy c-stand and sturdy boom arm. I hope you consider it as part of your lighting arsenal- its a showstopper!
