SeaLife ReefMaster Mini Elite Overview

The SeaLife ReefMaster Mini Underwater Digital Camera Elite Set provides you with a compact ReefMaster Mini dive camera for capturing high-quality images and video beneath the surface, a Mini Wide Angle Lens, a Digital Pro Flash and a lightweight travel case. The camera's 9MP CMOS sensor produces clear JPEG images and enables you to record 640x480 (VGA) AVI videos at 30fps. It's equipped with a 2.4" TFT color LCD for easy framing and viewing during shooting and playback. The onscreen Easy Setup Guide makes light work of ensuring that the settings are correct in all conditions. The camera has a fixed-focus, 7.9mm f/3 lens. It's also got an impressive depth rating of 200' (60 m), 70' (21.3 m) greater than its sibling, the Mini II. Now, you can really venture down deep to explore underwater life and environments.

The distinctive red rubber grip pad, another feature that sets this camera apart from the Mini II, offers a more secure hold for underwater handling--not to mention a stylish look. One metal and two rubber buttons are spread apart wide enough to make them easily accessible even with gloves on.

The Mini Wide Angle Lens is included to offer you a 33% wider field of view and a minimum shooting distance of 1' (0.3 m), enabling you to get closer to your subject and fit more in the frame. This cuts down on the distortion caused by the water, giving you great close-ups with high levels of clarity and color accuracy. Further aiding you in your endeavor to capture the best possible color is the camera's color-enhancing firmware, which keeps hues nice and vibrant. For even better color, the Digital Pro Flash (SL961) is included. The camera is also compatible with the powerful 500-lumen Photo/Video Light (SL980) (sold separately), which can help color balance movies as well as still images.

For storing your images and video, the camera has an SD / SDHC memory card slot. The simple one-latch design prevents the accidental opening of this slot or the battery compartment.

The Digital Pro Flash (SL961), like the camera, has a depth rating of 200' (60 m). It will be a great asset to you in restoring color fidelity and vibrancy to your underwater images. Water absorbs the red and yellow color spectrum, turning these hues to muted shades of blue and grey. Restore rich, natural color to your photos with the Digital Pro Flash. It will also reduce backscatter (reflection), for less glare and greater clarity.

The flash features an Auto mode, which automatically adjusts flash brightness for optimal image exposure. Its variable power adjustment enables you to manually fine-tune flash brightness to achieve the desired effect and exposure. Choose from 5 pre-flash cancellation settings. The effective underwater range of the flash is 2-8' (0.6-2.4 m). A flash link optical cable connection is included. The flash's flexible rubber arm allows for easy aiming and a secure grip. The SL961 produces roughly 100 flashes with 4 AA batteries (not included).

To easily, comfortably transport your underwater camera and flash, the lightweight Compact Pro Case is included.
