The black NSPA Powered Nano Spot from Galaxy Audio features a 3" driver and has 2 inputs on the rear panel: combo XLR-1/4" and 3.5mm stereo summing. With 24V phantom power, a 20 dB pad, and built-in compressor, you can go directly into the Nano Spot from an audio source or microphone.

I use this as a compact shout mic speaker at FOH to communicate with band and crew. I love that the logo illuminates when signal is passed- a helpful indicator that someone is talking if I have my IEMs in. The 2 band eq is helpful as well. The speaker gets very loud and is very effective for communication.
I use this loudspeaker for monitoring in the wings of my theatre which are very tight. The audio is good for communication, but not inspection. The cost is great, and does exactly what it says. My only complaint is that a normal XLR will not fit behind the yolk without it being angled up or down. I would recommend also getting a 90 degree TRS or XLR with it to give full range of motion.
