The MK Digital Direct Gem-eBox (120 VAC) is a unique constant light system that surrounds very small objects such as jewelry with daylight-balanced, even illumination.
It is the most compact of the MK Digital Direct Series, and is ideal for anyone who needs to have photographs of small objects produced quickly, easily, and without a degree in Photography. The portable Gem-eBox looks like a flat-topped pyramid, and takes up a fraction of the space of a conventional shooting table with lights. The introduction of the Professional Linkage Bracket permits support of heavy DSLRs and offers extensive movement, allowing you to take photos from the front, side, top, etc at almost any angle without resorting to a tripod. Now, you can easily connect a camera to your computer or high definition TV monitor and position it for shooting in just a few seconds.
The Gem-eBox's shooting platform is 7.0 x 7.5". Openings in the top and the front allow the Linkage Bracket to work its magic. Switch between fluorescent and LED lighting or use them all. The top 6 LED light grouping adds a cool 5500K accent, while the side LEDs give you a warm 2,700K accent. The three 28W fluorescent sources offer digital-friendly 6,500K daylight balance. Holding wax, an earring stand, 4 ring stands, 2 watch stands, the Linkage Bracket, power cable, Catalog Producer software and instructional literature are included.
