The Genus Wide Angle Matte Box Basic Kit includes a wide rayshade, two 4x4" filter holders and a French flag. The wide rayshade accommodates wide angle lenses and features two 4x4" filter stages. One filter stage is fixed, and the other rotates 360°, with friction adjustment and audible clicks on every 90° rotation. The matte box can be attached directly to the lens via a rear clamp with a maximum inside diameter of 105mm. Genus's Wide Angle Matte Box is an excellent companion for DSLRs and large sensor camcorders.
The Basic Kit also includes a fFench flag and two 4x4" filter holders. The french flag greatly improves light control and is made of high-grade aluminum with a non-reflective black coating finish. The filter holders are machined aluminum and utilize a spring lock wedge that will fit any 4x4" filter and hold it securely. The spring-loaded handle makes it easy to insert and remove the filter holders.
