The Remote Audio AC Adapter for Sound Devices will not work with the 744T as the recorder requires a supply with a 2 amp minimum. This PSU supplies 1.5 amps.

Does or doesn’t this power supply work with the 442? The Reviews contradict each other.
The Sound Devices 442 digital field recorder has a 4-pin Hirose DC input, and this power supply will work to power the unit.

Will this work with the newer MixPre-10T?
B&H strongly recommends the XL-WPH3 power supply with the MixPre-10T as per manufacturer publications. However, the remote audio PSSD power supply should work as it outputs 12V DC, 400 mA on a 4-pin HRS connector.

This did not work with my 302 Sound Devices mixer. I returned the power supply to B&H. But note that my 302 was an older model that I purchased off of eBay.

One of the 2 reviewers mentions he bought this power adapter for his SD MixPre-D , though under Product Highlights, it says: For Sound Devices 442, 302 and Mix Pre . Can anyone confirm that this will indeed properly power the MixPre-D?? The other adapter (XL-WPH3) available is an astronomical $101.35!
The Remote Audio power supply is compatible with and will provide the correct power to the Mix Pre-D.

From the specs it appears that all SD recorders take the same voltages and Hirose 4 pin connectors, so it should work.
