JACKS BREAK AFTER A FEW MONTHS

Based on the positive reviews, I bought two of these to repair two trusty sets of Sony Headphones. While the cables are good quality, the mini-jacks are not. Both replacement sets started to become glitchy after a couple of months use, and completely failed after about 6 months, which is far less than the lifespan of the original. The issue is that the plastic washers that separate the different elements of the mini-jack do not last. Will be replacing with a different cable.

question

Can the Replacement Coiled Cable for Sony MDR7506 be used for MDR-V6 headphone?
Asked by: Anonymous
I used my replacement cable for my set of Sony MDR7506, so I don't have experience with the MDR-V6, but by looking at the product images, they appear to be similar housings, so I assume it would work for both models.
