The TL-POE150S Power Over Ethernet Injector from TP-Link allows you to expand your Internet connection to areas previously out of reach of existing networks. With the TL-POE150S you can easily plug in your existing non-PoE router or switch into the adapter. Once plugged in, you can then plug in your PoE compatible device directly into the adapter via an Ethernet cable to take advantage of not only the data connection, but the power the TL-POE150S provides.

Yes it's 48V. No, it's passive. It just passes the input voltage to the device.

question

Is this a midspan PoE injector? Or can I use it to power a wireless AP without any ethernet connection to use in a mesh scenario?
Asked by: Anonymous
This is a mid span injector. If your access point supports PoE, you would be able to use the AP without a power adapter.

I'm trying to replace the power adapter that came with my Canon CR-N300 PTZ camera. Will this work as a replacement?
Asked by: Justin
Hi! According to Canon's website, the CR-N300 PTZ Camera supports PoE+ (802.3at) compatibility. This PoE Injector (TP-Link TL-PoE150S) uses the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard; not the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard. For 802.3at PoE+, please consider the TP-Link TL-PoE160S, instead.
