The quick start guide says once the remote and iPad have been synced, the iPad will "remember" the remote. All you have to do is turn on the remote. But the latest model has no "on/off" button. So, how do you turn it on (or off)?

I'm able to get my remote paired with my iPad. But it does not interact with the software, zero response. Is there a setting I need to adjust?
I'm sorry I can't answer your question, I haven't used mine yet...I may sell it on eBay...the job for which I bought it, fell thru and I haven't found another use for it.

does this remote come with the teleprompter software? I bought the PT-ELITE-UL Ican prompter.
When I bought it, I had to buy the program in addition to the prompter. They may have changed, but I assume not. It was only about $10, so not too bad.

I can pair my remote with my iPad. But the remote doesn't interact with Elite prompter app, zero control. Is there a setting to get it to work?
That happened to me as well, I called to the manufacture and I didn't receive a good feedback. I found out that my remote worked with another app instead called DV Prompter but some buttons doesn't work well. If you can take it back to the store, it will be better. For me, it was to late to do that.
