Gabor TM-1732 Reviews
works well and small in size
using for monitor
Not the best
Mounting the bracket to the wall was a snap. Mounting the T.V. with its mounting plate was impossible with my 32 inch Samsung. In order to accomplish this maneuver you had to angle the T.V. into an arch on the bracket that you simply could not attain with this size T.V. The top of the T.V. would hit the wall before coming anywhere near the bracket. It might work with a smaller T.V. but not up to a 32 inch as claimed.
Good Value for the money
This mount works fine. Its on the lower part of the price scale so you get what you pay for. This gets the job done.
Depends on TV
We actually had to modify it because the 32' tv we used it for, it blocked the hdmi ports and cable port. Other then that its a decent option.
Cheapest solution to hang a 32'' TV
Used this to hang a 32 inch TV on the wall in master bedroom. Because this mount was too narrow to attach to the two studs (my stud spacing is 16'', and this mount has holes spaced at most 2 inches apart), I had to get a board and screw it to the studs first. Then, this mount can be screwed to the board. If you have concrete walls, I guess you don't have a problem like this, but with a wooden frame and sheetrock construction dwelling, you can't securely hang a TV with this mount to the sheetrock wall without doing what I've done. Also, I had to use additional washers to augment the spacers and the washers provided with this mount for the VESA mount holes. Other than this, the mount is fine.
It works well
It does exactly what we want it to do. The only thing to consider is that it has to be positioned on a stud, unless you are lucky enough to have backing in your wall at the right place. So if you want to place your monitor in a precise place (horizontally), you'll have to do something to move it laterally between studs. Other than that, I recommend it.
spend a few dollars more
There are not enough four letter words in the English language to describe this mount.The bottom line is that it requires to you see behind the monitor in a very tight space using flimsy parts.The plate is large and covered up the ETHERNET jack on my samsung smartTV but that's a problem that can easily be solved with power tools and is probably more the fault of samsung for their dumb placement of jacks than the mount.
