The IRIScan Express 3 from IRIS lets you take the power of scanning with you wherever you go. The new IRIScan Express 3 features faster scanning speeds than its predecessor, the IRIScan Express 2. The scanner's compact size and light weight make it a great accessory for any laptop bag. The scanner weighs just 11.5 ounces and is powered from your computer via the supplied USB cable so there's no need to carry around batteries or an extra power cord.

The IRIScan Express 3's 600dpi sensor can scan any page size up to 8.5x14" (legal documents). Scan directly to one of more than 30 output formats including a Word document, an Excel spreadsheet, a PDF file, and more. The scanner features 2 programmable buttons to automate your most common scanning tasks to optimize your workflow. Once you scan, the bundled ReadIris Pro 12 OCR software lets you convert the image into text, obviating any need to manually type printed material again. The OCR software is compatible with over 130 languages and features more than 20 user interface languages.
