Fast changing lighting conditions can be a challenge to get consistently clear surveillance video. Use IQnightlight Low-light Exposure Software from IQinVision for areas like casinos or gated lot entry points, where lighting can be very dynamic. This software allows IQeye cameras to be optimized for both day and night time image capture. It also allows you to configure imaging parameters for eliminating motion blur when capturing moving objects.
Using IQnightlight, you can change the minimum exposure speed setting and maximum chip gain setting parameters. In addition, you can create two configuration files, IQDay.cfg and IQNight.cfg that contain image parameters that can be optimized for day and night time viewing. The camera will automatically switch between these files based on ambient lighting conditions.
