The Strike Finder Elite Camera Trigger for Select Canon Cameras from Ubertronix is a camera trigger that fires your camera automatically in reaction to four distinct prompts: light, sound, motion and laser response. The Strike Finder Elite attaches to the hot shoe of your camera and connects via a dedicated cable to your camera's remote port. The trigger will activate your camera to shoot upon detecting sound, lightning (or other light flash), motion and when a laser beam is broken. For detecting sound and motion an attachment with an 18" cable that plugs into the side of the Strike Finder Elite is required and included. Upon detection of the various prompts, the Strike Finder Elite sends a signal to your camera to release the shutter. The camera will shoot within 45-60 milliseconds, providing you with photos that are nearly impossible to take with our own hand-eye reaction.

The Strike Finder Elite with RS80N3 cable is compatible with the following cameras: Canon 1D Mark II, 1Ds Mark II, 1Ds Mark III, 5D, 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, D50, D60 and other cameras compatible with the TC-80NS (3-pin connector) shutter remote.

Strike Finder Elite Camera Trigger for Select Canon Cameras is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs adjustments. In general, the device is fine and works fine in simple testing. However, there are few points that got on my way for a while: 1. The sensors with the trigger got short cords and I find it more practical to have longer ones. I had to connect an extension myself to keep the sensor near the set. 2. The shape of the sensors is, as I believe, inadequate and they don't come with a support of some kind, and the instruction manual didn't descripe the optimum way for their usage and placement relative to the scene. 3. The motion sensor specifically in cumbersome with a hemisphere on top, which makes me think how to direct it to record a specific motion and how to narrow its field of view. 4. The trigger lacks a sensitivity scale to limit or increase the sensitivity of the sound sensor. 5. The operation of the lighting/laser of the trigger is somehow mysterious still for me and even after reading the instruction manual I'm not sure how to use the laser part more thoroughly (and not sure if I can use it to record motions). 6. The trigger device has a jack port entitled Camera/Flash and that gives a sense that it can trigger a camera or a flash/speedlite, yet however, no mention of this option in the instruction manual (instructions paper to be specific). The instructions are dedicated for camera use only. The package comes with N3 cable to connect it to the camera only, which makes me wonder if it connects to the PC jack in the speedlite or by some other way, if possible. All in all, the device works fine and I think I've sensed some lagging in response when I tested the sound sensor but I think it is normal that way because I used long cables from the sensor to the trigger and the signal might need few milliseconds to be delivered.
