The BE-126 Ball Head from Oben is a lightweight aluminum ball head with a load capacity of 26.4 lb, a large locking knob to control the movement of the ball, and a separate knob for the 360° panning movement. The individual knobs enable higher-precision adjustments to the head than are possible with single-lever heads. Taking panoramic photos is simple thanks to the panoramic scale at the base of the head. A notch in the ball head allows orientation to quickly change between portrait and landscape.

Can tension be adjusted on this head to hold a camera in place??
Yes ... but it all depends on the size of the camera and the size (lenght) of the lens. This ballhead is designed a DSLR with a SHORT lens ... or a Mirrorless Camera ... with a short lens. Check the max weight limit for the ballhead.
I would not recommend this ballhead or Oben products in general. Oben products are low price and low quality and tend not to last. IMO ... spend more money on a quality ballhead or tripods ... such as Benro or Really Right Stuff ... that will last for a very long time. Same for tripods ... my Oben tripod broke after warranty and no customer service.
Buy right ... the first time.

As both the Kirk lens collar and the BE-126 Ball Head use the Arca-Swiss type quick release system, the BE-126s QR system will accommodate the Kirk 80-400mm lens collar.

I BELIEVE THE BE-126T IS TALLER AND SLIMMER AT THE BASE. THE BE-126 HAS A LARGER DIAMETER, OTHERWISE THEY ARE THE SAME, WITH THE SAME WEIGHT CAPACITY
