Quadra Li-Ion Battery is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for reliable use outdoor fill flash on site where a heavy battery is a problem. my use is minimal and i maintained it on a monthly charge cycle. lasted all of twenty charges and died. sent in to elinchrom repair service, without a unit for ten days. batteries are backordered everywhere. manfrotto does not want to hear about it. many thousands of dollars invested in elinchrom over the last forty years, all great units. this is a dud and deserves a recall. manual is deficient on proper battery maintenance as well. does work with lead battery.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive garbage Bought the ELB-400 set with 2 batteries included. Used most of the time just one battery but also charged the second one at least once a month. After a year the second one turned out to be dead. Expensive garbage. Refused to buy a new one, bought a Flashpoint XPLOR 600 (Godox) instead as a backup with Elinchrom modifier adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery. I have 2 of these. They're smaller, lighter, and higher capacity over the original lead gel battery. Holds charge well while in storage and has worked great with my 2 A head Ranger Quadra Hybrid system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upset! I have had four of these batteries for a year now. I haven't used them for a few months and have now entered wedding season with a wedding every weekend. Just pulled them out to charge and TWO out of four are now not working. According to elinchrom website they cannot be recovered and should be replaced!!! They cost just short of $400 each!! I had been so happy with the quadra system until now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Multiple Li Batteries have failed under normal use I've had two of these batteries failing on me, one during on-site use and another during charging. Very frustrating when these things are so costly.
