Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light fixture I film my sermons and was looking for a professional light kit that I could afford. This fixture was part of the light kit I bought from B&H Photo. It is light weight and does not get really hot. This kit comes with 26 W bulbs. I did not think it would be bright enough, but using the softbox it came with, these 4 lights game me more light than the 300 w bulb I was using. These lights run cooler and save you money on energy cost. It comes with a power cord that is a decent length. The only thing that would make this fixture better is if had two power switches so you could turn on two bulbs or all 4. If you want to use one with less light, you have to remove the bulbs, which just takes a a minute or two. I am glad I bought this kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good but not great. Soild build for the fixture. The main things to note are that the soft box cannot go on while the bulbs are in place and there is only one switch for all the lights. I would prefer to see this built with four switches, one for each bulb. It would give the fixture more versatility. All in all good for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The price is right for basic lighting I use it for portraits and product photography. I love how easy it is to set up, to transport and how cool it is. I also bought these heads in a kit with soft-boxes (needed). Though the boxes attach really easily. Cons... well you get what you pay for. These are a 1 trick pony but they do what they need to do. The color, power, and heat of course depends more on the lamps with this particular head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Lighting, but... First off, overall these lights are great, perfect soft lights for product photography. The only issue, which is why 1 star has been removed is due to the fact that where the light connects to the light stand, on 1 of the 3 that were purchased, the connecting point was left raw and unpolished, therefore leaving us to drill out the excess plastic to mount it to the light stand and even after that it does not sit flush on the stand. Aside from that defect, the lights are perfect, would recommend to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Using it for both stills and video. The light quality is nice when used with a softbox. It is inexpensive, so the build quality lacks something, but for the price I can't complain. Bought it as part of a kit. The light stands are way too short for standups, OK for seated subjects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly Perfect This is the perfect setup that I was looking for. We shoot video interviews as well as stills. This is just the right balance to get a professional look without a professional budget. Easy set up. Light weight. Fully adjustable. And get's light were we need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Converted use with Grandma's fry pan. As you'll see from PIX; while shopping in B&H store I came up with way to convert my Photoflex 60 Octo Dome I now use with Pro foto flash to a video light incorporating steel ring I cut from my Meema's Passover 10 fry pan. I left the bottom unshined for nostalgia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice solid feel for plastic, nice switch This fixture is decent, i was surprised at how solid it was for plastic, meaning it felt sound. Not flimsy and stuck together with glue and tiny phillips screws. The switch is nice and the knob to adjust the angle feels great in the hand. Very pleased.
