The Ball and Socket Mount from Brunton is a non-magnetic accessory for attaching any Pocket Transit series compass to a tripod, bipod, or monopod. Slide the compass into the mount, tighten the brass thumb screw, and hold the compass level for azimuth and inclination readings more accurate than those acquired by handholding the compass.
Non-magnetic aluminum and brass construction materials will not affect the compass readings.
