I think I understand but just to make sure, my TV is located across the room from my Receiver. My receiver can input an HDMI audio device. If I put this box on and use a wireless HDMI unit such as J-Tech makes, then can I use an auxiliary input on my Receiver to hear the sound from my TV?
As long as the wireless HDMI unit can make that connection seamlessly, then you should be able to control from the receiver.
