The Dinkum Systems FlexiMount gives musicians and professional audio technicians a quick and simple mic mounting solution. It is ideal for the quick setup required by roadies, documentary filmmakers, audio engineers, or on-the-go podcasters.
FlexiMount attaches easily to surfaces such as tables, C-stands, lighting grids, and drum kits. Its large custom spring clamp accommodates a mounting surface up to 2" thick, providing a secure base for the durable and length-adjustable 9-link, 12" long arm. The strong and flexible arm does not require tools to lengthen or shorten as it simply pops apart and presses back together to get the length you want.
FlexiMount can be bent into nearly any shape or position and has a standard 3/8"-16 threaded mount. This mount is an essential item in the kit of any audio technician intent on capturing quality sound on the set and in the field, and it is compatible with many RF antennas.

Dinkum Flex mount
Flexiable, useful at any angle....Like Having an extra hand !
Threads are not 3/8-16
I bought this online to use with microphone shock mounts which have 3/8-16 threads, which this is supposed to fit. When it arrived it was too large to fit any of my shock mounts. The metal tip is itself an adapter, underneath is a 1/4" stud attached to the last section of the arm. I brought it into the store along with one of my shock mounts, nice salesman tried to screw it in, it didn't fit. He tried one of his shock mounts off the shelf, it didn't fit. He then got another Dinkum arm with the same sku, it also had threads too large to fit any shock mount. I needed this to work right away so I was forced to buy a 1/4 to 3/8-16 adapter from B&H for $6.37 I'm rating this 2 stars because the arm part is great and now that I can attach a shock mount it's fine but the product as sold is defective and I plan on trying to get my 6.37 back
