Mackie DLM12 Overview

The Mackie DLM12 Full-Range 12" Powered Loudspeaker delivers 1,000 watts of program power and 2,000 watts of peak power in a compact, portable design. It features TruSource driver technology, incorporating a 12" low-frequency driver and a 1.75" compression driver into a common-magnet design. The TruSource DSP delivers clarity, consistent dispersion and high fidelity sound.

The DLM12 features an integrated DL2 digital mixer, a 2-channel mixer with a versatile connection options. It also includes 3-band EQ, 16 effects presets, feedback destroyer, 6 speaker modes, and Smart Protect technology.

The DLM12 can be pole or wall mounted. An integrated kickstand allows use as a wedge-style monitor. M10 mounting points allow it to be used in fly installs as well.

DL2 Integrated Digital Mixer
The DLM12 features the powerful, one-touch DL2 digital mixer. It has a bright OLED screen and two versatile input channels with effects. It handles mic, line and Hi-Z instrument signals on XLR, 1/4" TRS and RCA connectors. Each channel has independent controls for level, 3-band EQ and effects. Sixteen channel effect presets are available, including reverb, chorus and delay.

so far, big smile. keyboardist, using 2/stereo. holy cow loud. great sound. no low end mud, but great wide range. sounds more like a 3way system. tested with synth, piano, b-3 and big symphony patches, at volume. really satisfying. a great near field sound, without the honkiness of usual design. very impressed, easy to carry to basements. the reverb/fx and mixing works great. did not need to adjust eq from default, just sounded rig sweet. kickstand is very handy onstage. other players impressed with them at recent nashville rehearsal. i have 4 qsc k12s that will stay home for other uses. the dlm12 just sounds sweet for live stage. -g. i am not a shill or dealer, etc. in any aspect.
