I purchased these to replace the inputs on my stage snake (The originals were cheap and falling apart). I was pleased with the construction and have trust in the Neutrik brand. I'm not a pro at soldering, but the solder cups on the back made for quick work. The fit was good for standard XLR male cable ends. They fit securly and the locking mechanism gives me confidence they will not come loose during a gig.
