One of the most appealing aspects of mirrorless cameras like those of the Fujifilm X series is the availability of a wide range of compatible interchangeable lenses, including non-Fuji lenses. The Adapter for Nikon Mount to Fujifilm X Mount Digital Cameras from Novoflex makes it possible to mount a Nikon lens to your Fujifilm X-Pro1, XE-1 and XM-1 Mirrorless Digital Cameras. This precision mechanical adapter does not transfer functions from the camera to the lens, such as automatic focus, however automatic exposure metering in aperture priority and stop-down metering is possible. The lens will focus to infinity using this adapter. The adapter features an integrated aperture control ring and can be used with lenses that do not come with manual aperture control ring.

question
Is this compatible to my xt1 camera to use any nikon lens?
This can mount any Nikkor lens to your Fujifilm XT1. Of course, no electronic information is communicated. So no auto focus or electronic aperture control and no metadata. If your lenses are Nikkor G lenses without manual aperture control you can still use this adapter since it has integrated aperture control ring.

can you mount any nikon lens using this adapter? Jeff
Yes, this adapter will accommodate Nikon lenses with an aperture ring (manual focus as well as Nikon AF-D models) and also those more modern version G autofocus lenses which do not have a manually adjustable aperture ring. The adapter features the ability to manually adjust the aperture on those lenses. So you in essence can use virtually any Nikon F type lens.

The answer to Vanessa's 1-3-20 question about the ...
The answer to Vanessa's 1-3-20 question about the use of this adapter with zoom lenses, says something about a neutral density filter not working. I don't understand this; I don't see any mention of a neutral density filter in the description. Can you clarify this?
The person who answered this is referencing a different Novoflex adapter, not this one. They are mentioning that with the Novoflex with the drop in ND filter it wouldn't focus as well at some focal lengths compared to others. However, for this adapter you don't have any issues or have to worry about internal ND filters.
