The 480 TVL Backup Camera System from Rear View Safety includes an industrial-grade backup camera along with a 7" TFT LCD color monitor. The monitor is designed to clip onto your vehicle's existing rear view mirror, keeping your windshield clear for full visibility of the road. Distance grid lines displayed on the monitor are adjustable and can also be switched completely off, and mirror image capability controls the way the camera's image is displayed on the screen. Additional monitor features include a built-in speaker for audio accompaniment to your video and touch screen buttons for a sleek, uncluttered look.
The camera's integrated 2.1mm fixed lens provides a 130° wide field of view for eliminating any blind spots. A 1/4" Sharp CCD color sensor captures images in 480 TVL resolution, and 18 IR LEDs provide up to 50' of night vision. The camera features an adjustable sunshade for capturing images in ambient lighting, a built-in microphone for audio, an auto iris sensor for adjusting the IR strength based on outside lighting, and a heavy duty metal construction for durability.
The package includes also includes a 3-channel multiplexer that allows you to connect up to 3 cameras or 2 cameras and a DVD player, for viewing video on a larger screen. The Backup Camera System is IP69K-rated weatherproof for outdoor use, shock resistant, and 20G/100G vibration- and impact-rated in case of bumpy roads or a collision. A 66' camera extension cable is included for connecting the camera to the monitor, and the system also comes with a remote control, a power connection wire, a double RCA and power converter, and installation hardware.
