The Neutrik NP2X-BAG Professional 1/4" Phone Plug sports a thin A-gauge 1/4" plug with a chuck-type strain relief. Solid build all around, and fairly priced at that. Not the shortest connector housing on the market, but the inbuilt strain relief is easy to work with - and does its job well - and the chassis is about as narrow as you cdan get with this kind of construction, so you'll never run up against space constraints on the front of your patch bay.
