I have a canon speedlight 420EX (bought used from my photography teacher). Is the 430EX II covered in this dvd similar enough that I would find value in this tutorial? If not, do you have a suggestion which will be a better fit? Many thanks
Yes, the flashes are very, very similar. The original flash had a plastic foot that broke easily and they replaced it with a metal foot. The camera also had a different locking mechanism to attach the flash to the camera. For slave mode they went from a switch to a button. Those were the major changes of the flashes but in terms of a tutorial there won't be much difference.
