This male plug sports gold-plated contacts, a black shell, a rubber boot to protect against kinks, and a cable O.D. of 3.5 to 6.1mm. For reliability, the plug employs a chuck-type strain relief.

Luckily I bought one extra of these because on one, when I went to screw it together after soldering and heatshrinking, it broke. The part that connects the solder point to the tip simply snapped under almost no pressure whatsoever.
This RCA male plug has that quality look & feel and was easy to install on my shielded cable at a nice price. I found the internal cable grip to be unique, effective, and easy to install. The cable conductors soldered easily to the gold plated connector contacts.
