The ULXD14D Dual Channel Bodypack Wireless System from Shure includes two ULXD1 wireless bodypack transmitters and the ULXD4D dual channel digital receiver. When completed with the addition of two compatible Shure lavalier microphones, headset microphones or instrument cables this set can provide wireless miking for up to two people simultaneously for a multitude of public speaking, ENG and live music applications.
The ULXD1 pocket transmitter can be paired with a number of Shure lavalier, clip-on instrument and headset mics that come in a variety of different polar patterns. It can also pair with the WA302 instrument cable for wireless guitar and bass. The ULXD1 is housed in an aluminum body that is designed to be rugged yet lightweight. It runs on two AA batteries or on the optional Shure SB900 rechargeable battery pack. The transmitter features external charging contacts for use with the optional SBC200 dual docking charger and it also features backlit LCD displays for visibility onstage. In addition the ULXD1 features a lock button to prevent settings from being changed while you are performing.
The ULXD4D dual receiver delivers 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio and is capable of supporting both transmitters simultaneously. Housed in an all-metal chassis, it can be installed into a single rack space. The receiver features dual XLR outputs for discrete routing of each channel into your mixer as well as automatic frequency scanning for finding the strongest available signal. Additionally, the ULXD4D employs AES 256-bit encryption which delivers secure wireless transmission for applications that call for privacy.
