Is this lens comparable or equivalent to the Computar H5Z2518C-MP?

They are definitely not the same, but I don't think it's because this is for analog cameras whereas the other is for 3MP cameras. Looking at the specs of the H5Z2518C-MP, that lens is a telephoto lens with focus from 1.5m to infinity. The MLH-10X on the other hand is a macro focus lens, with focus from .15m to .45m. I know that because I own the MLH-10X! And I can assure you, it works just fine with a 48MP C-Mount camera I'm using for soldering work. It's hooked up directly to a monitor using HDMI. Also, the working distance is closer to from 6 inches to around 21 inches or so! The lens seems perfect for the kind of application for which I'm using it.

It would very likely work. I have the lens attached to a 1/2.3" sensor camera and it works fine, with no vignetting or other artifacts as far as I can tell. The lens specification provides information for 1/2", 1/3", and 1/4" sensor sizes. From my research (because I had the same doubt), it seems when lenses are rated for example at 1/2", what that really means is that it is for a "half inch type sensor". It seems manufacturers round up the value to the nearest fraction in the lens spec sheet. Since 1/2.5" is in the ballpark of 1/2" (and in particular is smaller), it should work without difficulties. (As contrast, a 1/1.8" sensor for example would not work well with this lens.)

How many MP can this lens detect?

How many MP can this lens detect?

The HLH-10X has no specific MP rating. I own the lens, and have it hooked up to a 48MP camera. The camera is, quite frankly, rather inexpensive. It is connected directly to a computer monitor using HDMI, and in that mode generates a 1080i image. I can say with confidence that the image is quite clear at that resolution, so for sure the lens works fine, at least to that point. Beyond that would require additional experimentation, since as I said, the lens is not rated.

This lens is designed for sensors up to 1/2 and it isn't advised to use with a larger sized sensor.
