Low cost transformer gets the job done

I used this to connect a non-switching 240v British powered subwoofer to US voltage. Product is easy to use, very simple design, and just plain works, as it should do. The inputs and outputs are well labelled and easy to read. The controls allow for a variety of international voltage selections. I would have liked, perhaps, a longer power cord, and an American style plug, rather than the European plug that is built in, but the unit also comes with a European to US style plug adapter, which solves the problem. Unfortunately, such adapters are less secure when connecting them than if the US plug was built in, but for the price, you can't beat it. Much better deal than anything you could buy at a certain well known national chain electronics store, where you get lower wattage units at 3x the price.
